Profile

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Brain, Body, and Technology Lab at the Donders Institute, Radboud University. My research focusers on how the brain represents the body and how that representation can change, for example, when we interact with tools. To study this, I combine behavioral experiments, neuroimaging, and computational modeling.

I completed my PhD from Karolinska Institutet, where I investigated body perception and brain plasticity in both blind and sighted individuals. My doctoral thesis was awarded the Glushko Dissertation Prize from the Cognitive Science Society.

Originally from Poland, my academic journey has taken me through Norway, Sweden, the UK, and now the Netherlands. As a scientist, I feel privileged to ask big questions and mentor students as they grow into researchers themselves.
